The Literacy and Numeracy Discovery class (LAND) is a class designed to assist students who need additional support in their core classes.   LAND offers extended learning opportunities that reinforce the information and skills taught in the student’s core academic classes with a focus on increasing achievement in mathematics, reading, and writing.    In conjunction with academic skills, we also focus on increasing organizational skills, social skills, and problem-solving skills that can significantly impact achievement.  Land is a positive place for students to practice, take risks with their learning, increase their academic achievement, and feel success by doing so.
