The Harley Owner's Group is sponsored by the Harley-Davidson dealership here in Riyadh. The group, which was established in 2004, now has more than 300 members. It offers a variety of activities on a weekly and monthly basis, including a very impressive ride from here to Belgium!

The Riyadh Wheelers is a cycling club that has been in existence since 1992. It currently has more than 80 members comprised mainly of expatriates living in Riyadh. The club caters to both serious and social riders. There are about 18 events each season, running from September through April.

The Riyadh Rovers is a local expat 4x4 group. The Rovers do a variety of trips, ranging from easy to intense and local to far, during the year, with longer trips offered at Eid and Christmas. It is a nice way to explore Saudi with people who are experienced at doing so.

The Riyadh Quilt Guild has been together for more than two decades. It is a group of women who enjoy getting together to learn from each other. The guild meets once per month from September through to May, and also offers weekly sewing circles (usually during the workday) and frequent workshops on the weekend where you can learn a new technique. Quilters of all skill levels are welcome. You can come once, as a guest, to try it out before you join. The Riyadh Quilt Guild holds an annual dinner and quilt show where members show off their challenge quilts.

The Riyadh Road Runners is a community organization that offers families the opportunity to get out and run, meet new people, and see other compounds. This club is aimed at all levels of runners from beginners to really experienced and competitive runners. You can join for the whole year or just one event at a time. There are about 14 events each year, from September through to April, culminating at the Riyadh Marathon held each March.
