Welcome…we are thrilled that you are considering joining our learning community! The American International School – Riyadh is a vibrant, learning-centered, mission-driven school. The majority of our highly qualified and enthusiastic faculty and staff come from the United States and Canada, with 17 other nationalities represented. We offer an American curriculum-based program that offers a wide variety of learning opportunities for the 1,250 students who call themselves AIS-R Eagles. AIS-R is seeking to hire highly qualified, innovative, and learning-focused educators who are ready to play a significant role at one of the Middle East’s leading schools. We offer a variety of opportunities for professional growth in a collaborative and exciting working environment. AIS-R educators direct the course of their own professional learning and growth within a forward-thinking and supportive framework. Additionally, our “Make a Difference” and “I am an AIS-R EAGLE” initiatives enable our educators and students to effect positive change both within the confines of our learning community and throughout the wider world. All of this is set against the epic backdrop of a culturally vibrant, stunningly complex region that rewards those with a sense of adventure, a desire to challenge assumptions, and a determination to arrive at new understandings of the world around them. If you desire the ability to direct your own professional growth and realize your true potential as an educator…if you enjoy working with a truly international faculty, staff, and student body…if you are excited about the adventures that await you in a country that welcomes exploration…then AIS-R is the place for you! I welcome you to read over the following pages for important information on employee categories and qualifications, our application process, and our current openings. If you are ready and eager to turn the page onto a new and exciting chapter in your life and career, we warmly invite you to become part of our dynamic community and “Learn With Us!” Mr. Steve Augeri |
